How to vary your anchor text

How to vary your anchor text

I mentioned in my last post how I’ve been using “Unique Article Wizard” and other article marketing services together to get awesome rankings.

However, article marketing wouldn’t be so effective if I wasn’t using multiple variations of my ‘anchor text’.

For example: If I wanted top position for “Speakers” - I should use multiple variations such as “Speakers”, “Sony Speakers”, “Best Speakers” and so on.

So here are the steps that I follow:

1. Collect the best most targeted list of keywords

2. Spread them out as your ‘anchor text’ when submitting articles.

Second part is pretty self explanatory but part 1 is the key. To generate a nice list of targeted keywords that I can use to increase my rankings, I simply use Aaron’s SEO Keyword Tool. It’s Free and it works great.

Just type in the keyword and use the words that appear as your variations.

Don’t use competitor brand names in your anchor text as this could be considered spamming.

Especially if your competitor reports it.

Free backlink from Google

Written by June Beezy on May 28, 2008 – 2:33 pm -

Google Sites

Have you guys heard of Google Sites? Apparently its like this the old school Geocities or in today’s world, Squidoo but from Google.

Bottom line: It is a good place to get a back link from.

Just create a page about something and put a link to your site back from it. If you put actual relevant content, your results are only going to be better.

I made a 4 paragraph page for my client and added it to Google Sites. With two links on the page. One pointing to the main site and one pointing to another page for a deep link.

When doing link building, don’t forget about deep links guys.

As I always say, If you are getting a backlink from a legit source, GET IT!

$60,000 a month with TNX.net Part 1

Written by June Beezy on May 18, 2008 – 5:16 pm -

I finally got around to testing TNX.net out. They invited me to test it out so here we go . . .

Why should you care about TNX.net . . . .

1. You can use them as an additional source of income. Another MSI!
2. You can get your static link on thousands of sites in their network with complete variation of your anchor text.
3. It is a huge network and very affordable.
This service seems very unique as it not only helps you put ads on your site (Contextual Advertising) but the links are static.

Which means they are counted as backlinks!

Their network seems to be growing really fast which is a very good thing for such services.

Whenever their is a new backlink service out, I want to hear about it and try it out.

Remember, if someone is giving you a one way link, take it! NOTE: Only from legit sources ofcourse.

Now after you login, they give you the following option:

In this review, I am only going to test out the webmaster part. Since I have to talk to Vladimir (Founder) for more points so I can truly tell you if the backlink system on this works or not.

Next step is to simply pop in their code in your template or site. Just like Google Adsense.

What happens next is each of the links on your site can be sold to a different website. So the potential here is very high. For some blogs and this could be way better than adsense.

The only downside I can think of is too many outgoing links might  be a problem - the trick here is moderation. Sell links that sell for the highest price and than get rid of the rest.
As far as making money off this, a lot of famous people are using this successfully - especially on their blogs.

Check out Jim Karter Blog. Buddy is making $60,000gz a month and TNX.net plays a consistent part for him.

Congratulations Jim!

As you can sell to individual sites on individual pages - which is a big plus if you want to monetize your blog.

I am currently developing a profit strategy for this blog and TNX is something you will see on WDclub pretty soon.

Part 2 of this review will be when I test out their backlink network.

Until than, check out TNX.net for yourself.
