Best shopping cart for dropshipping
Message from WDclub.com: "PRACTICE BEING GRATEFUL"
So you’ve finally found a product (s), that you can dropship, now it’s time to develop a website to sell it. The software (CMS) I use to make websites is WordPress. I think it’s the most search engine and user friendly way of making a website. Plus if you ever get stuck on something, you can find help pretty fast.
However, having a wordpress site by itself is only good if you are selling one or two products. If you want to create a much more professional experience for your user (This will increase your sales dramatically too), is by installing a Shopping Cart.
The best shopping cart you can use with wordpress is the WP-Ecommerce plugin by Instinct.
It’s easy to setup and compatible with Paypal, Google Checkout and more.
I actually built a very successful Cuban cigar website with this shopping cart just recently.
Why shopping carts are imported when dropshipping or selling online?
Real reason, at least from my experience is even if you are selling a handful of products, and a shopping cart is not necessary, you should still use one.
It’s actually a psychological thing . . .
Ask yourself, the last time you visited a site and you bought something from them, did they have a shopping cart?
The answer is most likely yes. That is because not only will a shopping cart help you manage selling your products (Whether you are dropshipping or not), it also gives your site more value and credibility.
When I see an average looking website, but they have a shopping cart, it makes me feel ‘comfortable’ that at least it’s a real website.
Something to consider don’t you think?
