Sorry about a late post guys - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well I don’t know if you guys remember but I mentioned that I’m selling on eBay again.

Well this December (2007) was so busy that I couldn’t even do that.

Anyways, this is what is going down . . .

I tried selling my wine making kit on eBay and people are simply loving it.

Anyways, this is my plan . . .

I’ve noticed that my conversion rate on eBay is 5% or 1/20 to be exact. What that means is 1 out of every 20 visitors are making a buying decision.

But what about the other 19?

Before I start selling again on eBay (Give me some time, probably the weekend) to set up an opt-in form on the auction and several links to redirect them to my site for more information.

Where these 19 visitors will be shown an opt-in form again. Once they sign up, I’ll send them some free information and try to educate them further on my product. This is called building trust and credibility with your visitors and turning them into leads.

Now, I’m also going to be redirecting traffic and building my list using ebay, which is great because not only people on your list convert at a much higher percentage then some search engine visitor, it also helps greatly in search engines. As this shows I’m getting continuous traffic.

So in a nutshell:

1. I’m selling on ebay for cash.

2. I’m using ebay’s traffic to build my list and increase traffic to my website.

3. I’m slowly rising in the search engines and will soon be utilizing 100% Free Search Engine Traffic.

Give me 6 months and we’ll see what happens.

From now on, I think I’m just going to use this blog to tell you how I’m going to be promoting and marketing the site.
